Design and development: Create, test, and modify equipment such as pipelines, pumps, valves, and compressors to address operational issues or improve performance. Analysis and problem-solving: Investigate the root causes of equipment failure and develop solutions to prevent future problems. Project management: Manage and oversee the mechanical aspects of projects from initial concept to completion, including the assembly and deconstruction of drilling equipment. Safety and efficiency: Ensure that mechanical systems and equipment operate safely and efficiently by adhering to industry standards and performing regular maintenance. Quality control: Provide technical support for the procurement, installation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment. Field and office work: Spend time both in an office environment, working on designs and documents, and in the field, supervising construction and troubleshooting issues.

Education: A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
